Five charged over bikie-linked murder of Robert Issa in Melbourne carpark

Almost two years after Robert Issa’s Bikie -linked deadly shot in the Melbourne Shopping Center car park, five people were accused.

27 -year -old Mr. Issa was sitting in a white Mercedes in the Craigieburn Central Shopping Center parking park when the armed sprayed the car with bullets, killed Mr. Issa and wounded his friend Eric Cataneese at the beginning of October 2023.

On Thursday morning, Victoria police detained 29 -year -old Kew man, 31 -year -old Mickleham man, 33 -year -old Pascoe Valet man and two 26 -year -old Fawkner man.

Following the interviews, five men were accused of murder, murder attempted and criminal damage.

The reasons behind the murder of Mr. Issa remain uncertain.

However, according to Herald Sun, Melbourne was thought to be closely related to a figure of the Canchero Bikiie gang, which is suspected of playing a role in a series of retaliation fire tapes targeting businesses and houses.

Dean Thomas said that the men arrested on Thursday were probably “foot soldiers ve and those who were responsible for planning the attack were largely remained.

“This shooting was incredibly violent and played in a shopping center parking lot on Saturday afternoon.”

Detective Inspector Thomas said that despite the arrests, the investigation was not over.

“We will do everything we can to hold every person in this shot responsible,” he said.

“You know you’re a part of this chain, now it’s time to come and talk to us, because this may be your last opportunity.”

Five men would appear in the Melbourne Magistrate Court in the afternoon.
