‘No shame’: convicted sex offender MP blocks expulsion

After being convicted of sexual abuse, an infamous deputy in custody is trying to stop a state government from removing him from Parliament.
NSW Prime Minister Chris Minns, “Unlikely unseen,” Kiama Deputy Gareth Ward on Monday on Monday Labour’un Ron Hoenig and speaker Greg Piper’s leader was given precautionary measures against the leader.
As the Parliament continues on Tuesday, the orders effectively prevent a movement planned for the government to remove him from his seat with a vote on Wednesday.
“Frankly, not embarrassing,” Minns said to 2GB Radio on Tuesday.
“It is an indispensable situation to continue to be a member of the Parliament and continue to be paid, who is currently in prison in Silverwater, who is in prison.
Mr. Minns said the government was looking for an emergency court hearing on Friday to object to the orders.
However, he warned that there was a critical time factor in the game, and the parliament was sitting on Tuesday for just a week before he was broken again for five weeks.
Opposition leader Mark Speakman called on the government to work with the government to accelerate the deportation of Ward and encourage the deputy to resign immediately.
“Every day he sticks from a prison cell to his seat, taxpayers are based on the bill, and the people of Kiama remain silent.” He said.
“This is not just wrong, aggressive.”
Ward, who lived independently after leaving the Liberal Party, was sentenced to consent and three inappropriate attacks at the NSW Regional Sexual intercourse court in July.
In custody waiting for his sentence.
Since 2011, Ward has organized Kiama voters and won three elections under the liberal poster before securing the 2023 survey independently.
