Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said on Tuesday that the Supreme Court Directive Removing all street dogs from Delhi-NCR was a step from humanitarian, science-backed policy for decades and emphasized that their “blankets are ruthless, narrow-minded and compassionate.

It came a day after the thoughts of the Supreme Court’s Delhi-NCR officials to permanently change the streets to the “earliest” shelters.

The upper court said that it was a “extremely terrible” situation because of the stray dog bites that resulted in rabies, especially among children.
Gandhi, who reacted to the directive, said, “The SC’s removal directive from Delhi-NCr is a step from humanity, science-backed policy for decades.”

In an article in the opposition leader X, these silent souls are not “problems” to be erased, he said.

“Shelters, sterilization, vaccination and community care can keep the streets safe – without persecution. Blanket inferences are ruthless, narrow -minded and compassionate us, Gand Gandhi said. JB Pardiwala and R Mahadevan passed a series of instructions and warned a strict action against an individual or organization in case of blocking, which pushed the court to initiate disrespectful procedures.

“Any individual or any organization, if such a force comes to take the street dogs and come to round them and reported to us, we will continue to take strict action against such resistance that can be offered.” He said.

The bench also said that animal activists and “so -called lovers” can bring back the rabies.

“Will they put life back to children? You should act when you demand the situation,” he said.

The upper court felt a Suo Motu case initiated on the street dog bites that led to rabies in the national capital on July 28th.

On Monday, the upper court was directed to shelters and shelters by the civilian organs of the Delhi government and the Gurulam, Noida and Ghazabad.

He ordered dog shelters to have enough staff to sterilize and instill dogs to look at them. The centers would be under CCTV supervision to keep the dog in the facility.
