Boy, 15, is charged with rape after ‘teenager attacked near tennis courts’
A 15 -year -old child was accused of rape after allegedly attacked a young man near tennis courts.
The young boy was accused of raping a 17 -year -old girl at Cripplegate Park in Worcester.
The attack was reported to have taken place on Sunday, August 11 at 02:00 near tennis courts.
Police started the investigation on Monday, the police tape was seen in the park.
The child is expected to appear at the Kidderminster Magistrate Court on Wednesday.
It cannot be named for legal reasons due to age.
It is a location close to the Worcester Crick Club and was busy with families participating in the Worcester Show in the area.
On Monday, a stage guard was placed next to the tennis courts in Cripplegate Park while the police were making judicial investigations while collecting evidence.

Det Supt Garner said before: ‘I understand that this news will be uncomfortable for the local community.
“ Please make sure that we have taken the event incredibly seriously and follow all the investigation lines.
“ I know that the region will engage with families who enjoy the sunlight today and visit the Worcester show.
‘You will see the existence of an increasing police around the Cripplegate Park and PitchCroft, and we will encourage everyone who has any concern to talk to civil servants.’
