‘If you had stolen an ambulance instead, it may give a different result for all of us today.
“ You took the glue to our family, the man who will guide us when we need in our lives.
“ Was a man of the community. This is not just our loss, people looked at my father.
“ My father had a lot of life to live, but now we only stayed with memories because of the injuries you caused.
“ You have no idea what it is like to watch her death. You didn’t show any regret once.
‘You’ve broke my family in many ways that I can’t even start explaining.’

“ Was a long gentleman that should be clearly visible, but the defendant who attracted a wheel would restrict his view.
It is clear that “ tire signs return to the road when the e-bicycle hit his main road to Mr. O’hare, 2.9 meters.
‘The bike was never saved.’
Judge Robert Altham, who disqualified Green from driving for 12 years and four months, told him: ‘No sentence I could impose could not put what you did that day.
“ When you pulled it to this wheel, it meant that you had a limited view of what he was in front of us, and it meant that you were driving him with such a force.
‘Your only concern was to look at yourself.’

Sergeant Paul McCurrie of the Lancashire Police Roads Police Unit said: ‘Bart was clearly a beloved father and grandfather and his community was very respected.
Dylan Green drove his e-bike without paying attention to the people around him. Just before the collision with Bart, he was recklessly and showed a wheel performance.
“ `Did not stay at the scene, did not call for help or identified himself to the police.
Instead, he fled, continued to drive dangerously as he did to cover up his actions.
“ Only when he told his family what he did returned to the scene.
It is never accepted and never acceptable as’ Green does.
‘When the worst script takes place, as last year, it quits more people than you can imagine.
“ My thoughts remain with Bart’s loved ones.
‘No sentence will bring him back, but I hope today they may feel a sense of justice today that the man responsible for his death has been brought to justice.’
