New blow for Elon Musk as thousands of Brits object to his latest move | UK | News

More than 8,000 people asked Ofgem to prevent Tesla from preventing electricity on the “open political agenda” of Tesla, owner of British households.

Last month, the company applied for the license from the energy regulator and aimed to provide power to homes and businesses in England, Scotland and Wales next year.

However, the political activity of the billionaire owner, including his support to Donald Trump and the far-right activist Tommy Robinson, received objections from the public to the application.

The campaign group called the best Britain to write the people to Ofgem, arguing that Mr. Musk is not “a basis in our basic services”.

Approximately 8,462 people have used the group’s online vehicle to object to OGEM so far.

British General Manager Naomi Smith said: “We all put the front row on the malignant effect of Musk, turned Twitter into a hatching machine for right-wing hatred, encouraged the unquestionable conspiracy theories, and helps Trump to secure a second period in a deeply dangerous way.

“We encourage the British people to show the British people rightly near our electrical supply, and that therefore, to show more people by saying that they are opposed to write their views to Ofgem before Friday and to oppose this power – it takes only two minutes.”

The members of the people have until Friday to comment on the application, then will decide whether to provide an license to supply Electricity to Ofgem Tesla.

The electric car manufacturer, which is operated by the richest man in the world, has solar and battery storage.

Tesla has been included in the UK Energy Market since 2020, when it is a license to become an electrical generator.

In the US, the group has been a supplier in Texas for the last three years.

The application comes in the midst of the increase in demand for electric vehicles in Europe in recent months.

Industrial figures fell almost 60% in the number of new Tesla records in the UK in July compared to the previous year.

The data showed that 987 new vehicles were recorded in the UK in July compared to 2.462 in the same month of the previous year.

Tesla was approached for a comment for this story.
