CDC shake-up: RFK Jr fires 600 employees after Court clears part of Trump restructuring plan – The Economic Times Video
Approximately 600 employees in the US Disease Control and Prevention Centers (CDC) were terminated as part of the most comprehensive restructuring in the history of the agency. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., President Trump’s ‘Re -Healthy Make America’ attempt, leads the restructuring, the deductions are about ‘reorganizing the CDC with its basic mission’. Prevention of violence, firing at the organization, including financial offices, CT, equal employment units and more. A federal judge in Rhode Island made a partial decision that protects the personnel in programs such as prevention, reproductive health, workplace safety and birth defects last week. However, the other sections did not survive.
