Congress slams ‘politics of harassment, oppression’ in PoK

On Saturday, October 4, 2025, the Congress said that Pok was an integral part of India in the midst of severe unrest in Kashmir (Pok) occupied Pakistan, and hit the “harassment and printing policy” in that region.

Southern Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Tariq Karra’daki Karra’daki Anantnag’daki speaking to the journalists of the whole country’s sympathy, he said.

“Parliament has gone through a decision that Pok is a part of India and that our sympathies are with them with our sympathies.

Over the last few days, at least 10 people were killed and many were injured in the conflicts between Pok protesters and security forces. Protesters demand the end of what they define as fundamental rights, justice and systemic pressure.

To another question, Mr. Karra, the party always supports the cause of the Palestinian people. “Indira Gandhi was the person who defended the Palestinian cause. We gave full -fledged support to the Palestinian people and we will continue.”

Ladakh activist Sonam Wanghuk’s wife asked the Supreme Court against his detention within the scope of the National Security Law, JKPCC chief Wanchuk’s “BJP’s ‘My Way or Highway’ mentality” victim, he said.

“Everyone has the right to approach any forum. The attitude of the Congress Party is clear. It is the same Wangchuk, which BJP presented as a nationalist at the time of eliminating articles 370 and 35-A. It was used to remove BJP by BJP and to contribute to the praise of PM Narendra Modi. It was called Anti-National.

Congress leader, the party’s J & K Assembly in the next session of J & K will raise the restoration of the state, he said.
