Obaidullah Oari acted as “objects ına to be abused after targeting the smallest of two children at the age of 12. Sheffield Crown Court heard that they had sexually abused her 46 -year -old daughters at the age of 13 and 14.
The crimes that took place between 2003-2004 were investigated by the officers of the National Crime Agency operation of the National Crime Agency, which worked for child sexual abuse in Rotherham between 1997-2013. There was no guilty of raping a child under 13 years of age in relation to the second victim.
Both victims came to the Stovewood Operation 20 years after the abuse took place and provided their accounts to civil servants who continued to arrest Oari in 2019.
After a two -week hearing in Sheffield Crown Court, Omai was found guilty of three points rape and two -census attacks.
The jury heard how both girls were targeted, because they made them attractive for those who want to take advantage of young, vulnerable girls. ”
The opening of the case Matthew Bean said: “They were far from normal sexual encounters in which consent was open and open, where the parties were on equal terms, and that the parties were on equal conditions, and that the parties were given freely without approval, pressure or fear.
“For these defendants, girls were objects to be used. There was no real consent.”
The court said that both victims were the product of broken or unsuccessful families and that the care system was “without immediately protecting their parents”.
Bay Bean added: “Moreover, the conditions, each hand they were handled, perhaps at home or in the care system, meant that they would oppose the rules.
“This has undoubtedly made them attractive for those who want to take advantage of young, vulnerable girls.
“They were perhaps thought, they were girls who could not complain. Indeed, they did not make any complaints at that time.”
After the imprisonment of pedophyll, Hastings, a senior research assistant, said: “Today, Omai is starting a significant imprisonment for sexual crimes against two girls more than 20 years ago.
“The victims showed tremendous courage to declare the offenses of Oari and to give evidence against him.
“It doesn’t matter how time the crime took place, I encourage the child to report it to the police.”
NCA’s operation Stovewood continues to be the biggest investigation of its species by looking at the allegations of abuse in Rotherham between 1997-2013. 48 people were sentenced, including Omari.
