Putin Familiar With Modern Slang, Says Russian Presidential Aide | World News

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in a statement between the 10th Eastern Economic Forum (EEF-2025) held in Vladivostok on Saturday, familiar with Russian President Vladimir Putin Modern Putin.

When the journalists were asked whether modern slang is used in official meetings, Peskov stated that the Russian leader still expresses differently in daily life and that he did not use the youth slang expressions in the working process.

During an official visit to Vladivostok on September 4, the Russian leader was told about the new slang statements, including “Cringe”, “Guyz”, “Problems” and “Chill Rink”.

Putin visited the ‘unique Russian language’ exhibition in EEF and showed how the expressions of the same meaning changed in different periods. In one of the interactive panels, the Russian President offered to play games in youth slangs, where he had to place stresses towards words.

Organized by the Roscongress Foundation between 3-6 September, Vladivostok participates in more than 70 countries and regions.

The forum is an important international platform for creating and strengthening ties between Russian and global investment communities, a comprehensive expert assessment of the economic potential of the Russian Far East, and the presentation of investment opportunities and business conditions in advanced development areas.

The main theme of the Eastern Economic Forum 2025 is ‘Far East – Peace and Welfare Cooperation’.

Forum activities are organized in the form of panel sessions, round paintings, television debates, business breakfasts and business dialogues dedicated to Russia’s relations with various countries of the world.

“In the context of geopolitical transformations, government officials, politicians, entrepreneurs and experts in the forum, Russia and Asia-Pacific region will focus on the depth of mutual useful cooperation expectations between the countries of Russia and Asia-Pacific region,” the Russian Ministry of Foreign Ministry will focus on the beginning of the event.
