State ropes in firms from Karnataka to set up shop in Hosur

Hosur takes the headquarters on the growth journey of Tamil Nadu and with a few Crore investments worth a few Crore to be signed at the TN Rising Hosur Investors Summit on Thursday, September 11, 2025.

Interestingly, Tamil Nadu managed to invest from companies that are the center of Karnataka, the neighboring province.

Among the major agreements to be signed, the Bengaluru -based Zetwerk Production Businesses Special Limited requires investments in 5,000 CRORE settings. The company proposed to establish a solar cell production facility in Tamil Nadu. The project will increase the domestic solar value chain by catalyzing the auxiliary industries (glass, rear pages, silver pages, machines) and increases energy security with green exports. This agreement will create more than 3,000 jobs.

The Bengaluru-based Hi-Q Electronics Private Limited will invest 425 Crore to establish a PCB production facility. The project is expected to create 400 jobs. The facility will focus on advanced electronic production capabilities and production infrastructure.

ASM Technologies Limited proposed an investment of a new 250 crore to establish a production facility. Electronic, semiconductor, sun and allied industries will focus on design LED equipment production. This agreement will create 1,100 jobs.

Zettaone Technologies India Private Ltd. will make additional 100 Crore additional investments to install an ESDM (Electronic System Design and Production) facility in Krishnagiri. The project will create 500 jobs and strengthen Tamil Nadu’s growing ESDM ecosystem. The facility will focus on advanced electronic system design and production capabilities.

Chennai -based JLK Automation (India) Private Ltd. will invest 100 Crore to establish a production facility for sensitive automation machines in Krishnagiri. The project will create 450 jobs.
