DRI Patna apprehends two suspects involved in wildlife trafficking

Patna Regional Unit Intelligence Directorate (DRI), on September 17, 2025, caught two illegal hunters who participated in wild life smuggling with endangered animal smuggling.

The sources in DRI said that the DRI officers moving on actionable intelligence planned a meticulous secret operation in Patna, which aims to a criminal union in the illegal and illegal trade of the leopard and “Hatha Jodi.

According to DRI sources, preliminary investigations follow the gang’s participation in leakage hunting and smuggling of the leopards and the lizards in various parts of the country.

Later, Dri delivered the suspects to the Bihar Forest Department for subsequent procedures. Before they were sent to jail, they were produced in front of the Court of Patna Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM).
