The 2026 Met Gala had a host committee consisting of committee co-chairs Anthony Vaccarello and Zoe Kravitz, along with members Sabrina Carpenter, Doja Cat, Angela Bassett, Gwendoline Christie, Misty Copeland, Elizabeth Debicki, Lena Dunham, Sam Smith, Teyana Taylor, and more.
The Art of Costume will run from May 10 to January 10 next year, following the Met Gala on May 4.

The 2026 event is the first since Anna Wintour technically backed out of one of her famous roles in Vogue.
