Third person charged with alleged murder of Zac McRae, 19, at Mt Druitt

A third man has been charged over the alleged murder of a teenager at a bus stop in Sydney’s western suburbs last year.
Zac McRae, 19, was found stabbed in the chest at a bus junction on North Parade, Mount Druitt, shortly after 10pm on August 27, 2025.
The person, who was intervened by medical teams, died at the scene.
Another man, also 19, was stabbed in the arm and was treated by paramedics, police said.
He was transported to the hospital in stable condition and later released.

Footage showed the moment police arrested the 19-year-old at a Blacktown property.
The alleged offender, wearing black tracksuit trousers and a hoodie, walked out of the house with officers holding his head down as he was taken to Blacktown police station.

There, he was charged with murder, injuring a person/causing grievous bodily harm with intent to murder, robbery in a company, grievous bodily harm causing injury, assault causing actual bodily harm in the presence of another person(s), and assaulting a person with intent to engage in criminal activity of a criminal organization.
The man, who was refused bail, is expected to appear in Blacktown Local Court on Thursday.

This comes after two more people were charged with the teenager’s alleged murder.
On Wednesday, January 7, police arrested a 19-year-old man in Silverwater and charged him with murder, assaulting a person inflicting grievous bodily harm, wounding with intent to murder, robbery in a company, inflicting grievous bodily harm and assaulting a person for the purpose of criminal activity of a criminal organisation.
He was refused bail and appeared in court on Tuesday, January 13.

In December last year, a 19-year-old woman was arrested and charged with murder, concealing a serious criminal offence, failing to disclose the identity of the driver or passenger, and participating in or contributing to criminal activity in a criminal group.
It remains before the courts.
