Adam Ramsay-Peaty wore his new name on his swimming cap at the Commonwealth Games, hoping it would bring him luck in Glasgow.
The three-time Olympic swimming champion is using his full name to compete in a major championship for the first time after marrying TV chef Gordon Ramsay’s daughter Holly last December.
It looks like his pregnant wife Holly approves, with the new bonnet-clad Adam sharing a snap on Instagram Stories and writing: ‘So Special’.
He married Holly in a lavish ceremony at historic Bath Abbey on December 27, 2025, and they announced her pregnancy in June.
Unfortunately his parents did not attend the wedding and it is assumed they did not attend the Commonwealth Games amid a dispute and Adam stays away from them.
Adam won the first of his four Commonwealth titles in Glasgow 12 years ago and is looking to add to that tally in a major stage assignment ahead of the LA 2028 Olympics this weekend.

Since competing professionally, the British star has won four gold and three silver medals from her previous three appearances at the Commonwealth.
Adam could become the first Team GB swimmer to win four consecutive gold medals in Glasgow; He will participate in the 50 meter and 100 meter breaststroke races.
The revelation comes after the athlete gave an insight into married life with pregnant Holly in a new interview with BBC Breakfast on Tuesday.
Speaking of the Commonwealth Games, the Olympic champion said becoming a father for the second time had made him ‘grow up’.
She said: ‘Our wedding was one of the best days of my life; Watching Holly walk down the aisle is a sight I will never forget.
‘It was as if I had a snapshot in my brain, the music and the church were incredible. It is an incredible blessing to have Gordon (Ramsay) as my father-in-law.
‘I’m also expecting a little baby girl. ‘While I was incredibly excited, the role of being a father was truly incredible and it was a blessing to have another person in this world who loved and cared for you.’
He continued: ‘My love will not be judged by a medal.
‘As Holly continues her pregnancy, her happiness, her and her baby’s health, and all I can pray for are what pushes me to grow even more.’
The man is the father of five-year-old son George-Anderson from a previous relationship with artist Eirianedd Munro.
The video, broadcast on BBC Breakfast, features Holly, Gordon and her son George, but makes no mention of her parents, who have devoted their lives to her swimming career.
