Adimulam Pulls Up Officials Over Protocol Violations

Nellore: Sathyavedu MLA Adimulam lashed out at government officials at the public grievance meeting (Praja Darbar) held at Varadayyapalem on Wednesday, accusing them of sidelining elected representatives and acting under political pressure.
Let us remind you that Telugu Desam suspended the MLA last year following some allegations. Since then, he has repeatedly expressed concern over what he described as protocol violations and had earlier brought the issue to the attention of Minister Anagani Satya Prasad.
Expressing strong displeasure, the MLA questioned how officials could organize bhumi puja ceremonies for government buildings without informing him and in violation of protocol, and allegedly allowed unauthorized persons associated with TD to preside over official programmes.
He said to the authorities, “Are you a civil servant or a paid worker? Do not work as a slave for someone else. Do not live in fear.”
Drawing a clear line between himself and the TD leadership, Adimulam warned officials not to succumb to what he called temporary political influence. “Those who come as fair visitors are not permanent. I will stay here,” he said, warning that repeat violations of the protocol would force him to apply to the Supreme Court.
The MLA also expressed anger over the absence of officials from the electricity department, Roads and Buildings and Panchayat Raj at Praja Darbar, terming it as a serious lack of public responsibility. He announced that a formal complaint would be lodged with the district collector and the CMD regarding their absence.
