Mick Malthouse returned to Richmond tonight to present the jumpers to debutants Sam Cumming and Tom Burton.

Cumming deserved a call-up after an impressive preseason performance and comeback from a preseason shoulder injury.

The 2025 No.7 Pick collected 30 disposals, five inside 50s, five marks and a goal against the Australian U18 Academy team in a VFL practice match last weekend, standing tall and gaining confidence ahead of his AFL debut.

Burton, meanwhile, was a player in pre-season training and was named to the list last month after impressing coaches and teammates alike with his enthusiasm, tackling and pace.
