After Marco Rubio, Venezuela’s acting Prez, set to visit India from June 3-7, oil supply on agenda – The Economic Times Video

Venezuela’s interim President Delcy Rodriguez will travel to India on Wednesday for a five-day visit as New Delhi increases crude imports from Caracas, the foreign ministry said. India, the world’s third largest oil buyer, has revived crude oil supplies from Venezuela to fill the sharp crude oil deficit in the crisis-plagued Middle East. External affairs ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said that Rodriguez will be accompanied by several ministers and will hold talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi: “Acting President Rodriguez will hold bilateral talks with the Prime Minister, covering the full spectrum of India-Venezuela relations and exploring avenues for greater cooperation in energy, trade, investment, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, transportation and renewable energy,” Jaiswal told reporters on Tuesday.
