Amid growing concerns over legendary actor Dharmendra’s health, superstar Aamir Khan and his girlfriend Gauri Spratt visited Breach Candy Hospital on Tuesday evening to extend support to the Deol family. Footage taken by Mumbai-based officials shows Aamir and Gauri arriving at the hospital.
On Monday evening, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan also visited the Sholay star to check his health. Shah Rukh was also accompanied by his son Aryan Khan. Govinda and Ameesha Patel also went to Breach Candy Hospital on Monday. Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Abhay Deol and Hema Malini were seen in and out of the hospital in the last two days.
Earlier in the day, Hema Malini strongly spoke out on unconfirmed media reports stating that Dharmendra is no more. In a strongly worded tweet, the BJP MP wrote, using the handle He also urged everyone to show due respect and privacy to their families.
Hema Malini’s reaction came after actor Esha Deol’s announcement about their daughter. “The media seems to be going into overdrive and spreading fake news. My father is in stable condition and recovering. We ask everyone to maintain family privacy. Thank you for praying for my father’s speedy recovery,” he wrote on Instagram.
Born as Dharmendra Kewal Krishan Deol, the 89-year-old veteran superstar is considered one of the greatest, most successful and iconic actors of Indian cinema. The actor, nicknamed the ‘He-Man’ of Bollywood, has worked in more than 300 films over six decades. He holds the record for appearing in the most hit films in the history of Indian cinema.
