Ahmedabad Metro to link Koteshwar Rd with Sardar Patel Sports Enclave & Airport ahead of CWG 2030 – The Economic Times Video
The Cabinet approved Phase 2(A) of Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project at a cost of over ₹2,169 crore. The new 6-km corridor will connect Koteshwar Road to Ahmedabad Airport through five stations, including one metro station. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said the project will improve connectivity to key infrastructure hubs such as the airport and the Sardar Patel Sports Precinct, home to the Narendra Modi Stadium ahead of the 2030 Commonwealth Games.
