AICC Observer To Meet Congress Cadre To Select DCC President

Adilabad: The AICC observer will hold meetings with party workers in Adilabad and Nirmal to collect feedback from cadre and local leaders on the selection of District Congress Committee (DCC) presidents.
In a notable move, the AICC appointed senior Congress leaders from other states as observers under the supervision of the Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan to oversee the DCC president election process. The initiative aims to strengthen the party’s leadership at the district level and ensure more effective grassroots organisation.
Ajay Singh, MLA and son of former Karnataka chief minister late Dharam Singh, has been appointed observer in Adilabad and Nirmal districts. The election of DCC chairmen is done to create a stronger organizational base for the party.
According to party sources, AICC’s decision to appoint senior leaders as observers is aimed at maintaining transparency and ensuring the selection of talented and committed individuals. Ajay Singh is expected to reach Nirmal on Monday, where he will meet party workers and leaders for two days before heading to Adilabad to continue the election process.
