Aitch on reaching new heights with his Mount Kilimanjaro climb

This time he has “smashed” his target, having earned more than £160,000 so far from his climb to Africa’s highest peak.

The rapper said he was able to handle the altitude and physical elements of the hike, which others in his group struggled with.

But he says the “major mental challenge” was his biggest hurdle.

Between early mornings, later nights, and the moment when the climate changes from rainforest conditions to blizzards, “it’s a lot,” Aitch says.

He admits the group probably would have turned back if they hadn’t made the climb for “such a good cause.”

Down syndrome is when you are born with an extra chromosome, and people with the condition are likely to have some learning difficulties.

Aitch’s fundraising efforts were inspired by Gracie, who was also the subject of her 2022 viral song My G.

He thinks it’s so popular because it shows the bond between siblings.

“People like real things,” he says.

“And the relationship between me and my sister, I mean both of my sisters, is undeniable. You know what I’m saying? I mean, I feel like that’s why people love her.”
