Alappuzha prepares to bid farewell to V.S. Achuthanandan

Former Prime Minister and CPI (M) leader vs Achuthanandan’s home area Alappuzha will bid him on Wednesday. Kortege is expected to enter the region late on Tuesday night or early on Wednesday.

Achuthanandan’s funeral ceremony, Punnapra-Vayalar martyrs in the governor of the governor of Chudukkad at 15:00 at the monument will be held with full state honor.

On Wednesday, the Alappuzha Regional Administration declared a holiday for all government offices and schools, including professional colleges in the region.
