Aldi set to introduce major change to over 500 UK stores | UK | News

Aldi announced that more than 500 UK stores currently have Inpost Cabinets and allow customers to easily collect and return online parcels while shopping. The supermarket chain aims to expand this service to at least 600 stores by the end of the year. Cabinets currently available in 536 stores in England, Scotland and Wales are part of Aldi’s ongoing partnership with Inpost, a leading parcel dressing provider.

Aldi initially launched Inpost cabinets in 2023 with a trial at 22 locations. After receiving positive feedback from customers, the retailer expanded the presentation in 2024 and rapidly increased the number of stores that have been serving since then.

Aldi UK National Real Estate General Manager Jonathan Neale said: “Ease and efficiency are important for our customers, so we continue to offer as many inpost cabinets to our stores as much as possible.

“We have always been a goal to save time and money to our customers, so it is really valuable to make people buy or return while making a weekly shop.”

Inpost UK CEO Neil Kuschel added: “Our growing partnership with Aldi reflects a common commitment to offer the best daily shopping experience for customers in the UK.
