City of Gold Coast installs sandstone terraces to end destruction caused by decades old pastime

A local council has taken hard actions to stamped a decimal -year -old entertainment that pleased generations after it has been inserted thousands of times to repair the damage of price taxpayers.
The Gold Coast Council Council announced that people will set up multiple sandstone terraces on Kirra and Burleight Hills to prevent people from shifting the grass area down during rain or storms.
The damage invoice has thousands of cost -rate taxpayers to replace the grass destroyed from Mudslides, which has been disgusted with many locals after the old tropical Cyclone Alfred.
The images of Muddy North Burleight Hill showed an area full of Boogie boards and cardboard sheets, one of the residents sliding from mud.
A resident has published on social media and was disappointed to see Stunk and all the boards everywhere, such as sewage.
“I can say that there will be diarrhea for weeks,” he said in a video on Instagram.
Gail O’Neil, a City of Gold Coast City, said Kirra and North Burleight Hills were converted into dangerous mud shifts during cyclone.
“This only caused significant damage in parks, but also created serious security concerns,” he said.
“This has been a problem that has been ongoing for years, as both hills needed to be constantly fixed after storms, and uses money to bring back the money paying to an acceptable standard each time.
“To help deterrent this behavior in future weather events, the city decided to reshape and strengthen the slopes, which made them more flexible and safer for the community.”

The Council will establish sandstone block terraces on the hills to prevent people from creating mud shifts and reduce the risk of erosion.
It is expected to start later this month and will end up to mid -October.
However, for decades, the work has reacted to a mixed reaction from the locals who liked mud shifts during the rain events for decades.
Some inhabitants believe that money can be spent better to label the city as a “fun police ..
“The grass is growing very fast. I’m sure Gold Coast Council has plenty of money to spend on better things,” he said.

Another person said, “Let children have fun. Grass has grown back! It was better to put it on a second bike track from Kirra to Greenmount,” he said.
One person said, “This is ridiculous. He was there for thousands of years and he did a very right job,” he said.
Another person said, “More tax dollars are going to correct the grass on a hill from some of the new stadiums, some of the new stadiums,” he said.
