Americans blocked from Epstein files moments after secret documents are released
The Justice Department has released scores of Epstein files, but Americans have already been blocked from accessing them due to network issues.
The files, released by the Justice Department on Friday afternoon, were made public after a nearly hour-long delay in meeting a court-mandated deadline to seal all documents related to the 2019 Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking investigation.
But countless Americans trying to download the newly released files from the Justice Department’s website were placed in an online queue that quickly rejected their attempts to wait in line.
Any attempt to refresh the page resulted in the following message from the DOJ: ‘Your sequence number is no longer valid.’
The Daily Mail has accessed documents linked to the Epstein case and is currently reviewing them.
A collection of photos released Friday shows former President Bill Clinton spending time with Epstein and convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell.
Clinton was also photographed frolicking in a hot tub with Maxwell.
Thousands of documents also included photos of celebrities Michael Jackson and Mick Jagger posing with Epstein and Clinton.

Image of technical problems encountered as Americans tried to access the Epstein files on the Justice Department website
Footage released by the US Department of Justice on Friday revealed that Jeffrey Epstein met with former President Bill Clinton.
The dozens of photos released included nude images of young women that had been withheld by federal authorities.
Hundreds of images were completely edited to hide the identities of the alleged victims.
Many of the images showed Maxwell in various states of undress or costumes from Epstein’s parties.
She was also seen posing with Clinton and actor Kevin Spacey, who was acquitted of criminal sexual assault charges in the UK in 2023 and in a civil case filed in the US in 2022. Spacey has denied all allegations of misconduct.
The files also included photographs of Epstein with the famous Mick Jagger (Image) and Michael Jackson.
