Amul cuts prices of over 700 items after GST reforms: From ghee and paneer to butter – Check what will get cheaper
The leading milk and food brand amul, GST, GST benefits to transfer to consumers Ghee, butter, ice cream and snacks, including more than 700 products will reduce prices. The new price will be valid as of September 22nd.
Pussy‘S Parent, Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), said in a statement for a series of products for a series of reviewed prices.

Amul gave information to trade partners, including distributors, amul halls and retailers in India, about price changes.
“The amul believes that the decrease in prices will encourage the consumption of a wide range of dairy products, especially ice cream, cheese and butter, because per capita consumption remains very low in India and creates a great growth opportunity.”
Is there any change in milk prices?
Since they are not subject to GST even before reforms, the prices of the bag and packaged milk will remain unchanged.
Jayen Mehta from GCMMF told the Anı on September 11th, “There is no change in fresh sac milk prices because there is no decrease in GST.
How will a price cut affect the demand for dairy products?
GCMMF, which belongs to 36 Lakh farmers, said that the reduction of prices will increase demand for dairy products and lead to growth in the turnover.
Cooperative, which marketed its products under the ‘amul’ brand, saw that income increased by 11 percent LaIn the last financial year, 65,911 Crore is mainly due to higher sales volumes in all categories.
GST Reforms
