DEP unveils DEP AIWorks in India to Advance Intelligent Engineering Across Industries

Detroit Engineered Products (DEP) introduced DEP AIWorks, an AI-powered engineering platform designed to accelerate product development through a unified combination of machine learning and physics-based simulation.

Built on DEP’s longstanding engineering expertise and the foundation of its widely adopted MeshWorks platform, DEP AIWorks brings together predictive AI, generative capabilities, and simulation-driven intelligence in a single environment. The platform combines techniques such as neural networks and physics-informed models with built-in CAE analyzers to deliver accurate, engineering-relevant results.

Unlike approaches closely tied to specific solvers or limited to isolated use cases, DEP AIWorks is designed to be a physics-agnostic and tool-agnostic platform. It enables organizations to work across a variety of data sets, engineering domains, and stages of product development, from early design research to validation and production.

DEP AIWorks offers a modular and scalable architecture that includes adaptive model training, rapid estimation, automatic parameterization, optimization, generative design, and centralized data management. Engineers can build and deploy models in weeks, reduce simulation turnaround times from hours to minutes, and achieve high accuracy compatible with real-world engineering constraints.

The platform supports applications in automotive, aerospace, energy, manufacturing, telecom and other industries. DEP AIWorks combines data-driven learning with physics-based verification, enabling faster decision-making, reduced development cycles, and improved engineering productivity.

The launch comes following the successful completion of DEP MeshWorks The meeting brought together engineering leaders, OEMs, technology partners and industry innovators under the theme of “Physics-Driven Predictive and Generative AI to Transform Product Development and Manufacturing.”

“DEP AIWorks reflects the next step in how engineering organizations will embrace AI not as a standalone tool, but as an integrated part of the product development lifecycle,” said DEP President and Founder Radha Krishnan. “By combining decades of simulation expertise with advances in artificial intelligence, we enable teams to move faster while maintaining engineering rigor and reliability.”

DEP AIWorks is part of the broader DEP ecosystem and works seamlessly with MeshWorks, extending its capabilities into AI-driven workflows while maintaining the depth of simulation and engineering processes developed over decades.

With DEP AIWorks, DEP continues to expand its role in delivering intelligent, scalable and future-ready engineering across industries.
