According to Beachwood police, when officers reviewed his driver’s license, they determined Gibson had an active arrest warrant out of Mansfield for failure to appear in court for a 2023 speeding ticket issued by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Gibson appeared in Mansfield Municipal Court on Tuesday and paid a $215 fine.

The former shooting guard was drafted by the Cavs in 2006. He played in the team for seven seasons and ended his career in 2013.
