Anirudh Ravichander Likely to Score Music for God of War?

Speculations are gathering pace that Kollywood’s star music composer Anirudh Ravichander might join hands with Jr NTR once again, this time for the actor’s much talked about mythological action drama, tentatively titled God of War. Although no official confirmation has been given by the makers, industry buzz suggests that Anirudh has taken the lead in composing the music for the film.

Anirudh had previously worked with Jr NTR in Devara and their collaboration was widely appreciated, especially for its energetic soundtrack and powerful background music. If the latest reports are true, God of War will mark the second collaboration between the actor and the composer.

Speaking during the promotions of Devara last year, Anirudh had described Jr NTR as one of his closest friends in the industry.

“We were planning to work together for a long time, but Devara finally made it happen. NTR is one of my best friends in Hyderabad. His fans were constantly asking him to collaborate with me on social media, which made me happy. I have done a few Telugu films before, but Devara was special because of its unique concept and of course my friendship with Tarak,” said Anirudh.

The composer has emerged as one of the most sought-after musicians in Indian cinema, delivering chartbuster albums and unforgettable background scores for films like Leo and Jailer. His work in Devara also received positive response and the film’s background music received praise from fans and critics alike.

With God of War shaping up to be one of Jr NTR’s most ambitious projects, fans are now waiting to see if Anirudh will officially reunite with the actor for another high-voltage musical outing.
