Apple’s new flagship phones compared
IPhone Air is a curious product. It is very thin that you notice immediately in your hand. It is also very light, at least less pronounced for me; I’m not sure that I can explain the difference between 165 grams of air and 177 grams of iPhone 17. However, while the Form factor has benefits-it is included in your pocket, covering less space in your pocket or bag, and keeping it easier for a long time if you are at a concert. However, thinning driving comes with compromises.
A widespread response to the air is that a thinner device should be more fragile, but this is not absolutely true. When a phone is broken, it tends to be because it is the glass breakdown and the glass air here is thicker brothers. The frame is titanium and there is no significant reason to doubt that Apple is more resistant to damage than previous iPhones. I gave urge to stretch as hard as possible, and even though you could see some bend in the frame, then returns to normal.
More appropriate disadvantages are about hardware that Apple cannot fit in such a skinny frame. The battery is physically smaller here, and the weather is still doing well for a normal working day, while both the iPhone 17 and 17 Pro did, it could not withstand a full 16 -hour test and game. And there is only one camera lens, so standard shots and 2x zooms are as beautiful as the iPhone 17, but there is no optical zoom option macro, ultrawide or longer. The sim tray is gone, so it’s just my wife for the weather. And the only speaker comes anemic.
After using the air every day, there is no deny that there is an extraordinary phone. I love the size of the 6.5 -inch OLED display, Apple’s sticky is sitting between small and large dimensions and as bright and smooth as brothers. Inside has a modified version of the A19 Pro Chip, ie standard and pro models for performance, and this is plenty of power for almost everything you need to do with a phone. If you like Apple’s liquid glass visual design, perhaps there is no better hardware to complete the M4 iPad Pro. If we talk subjectively, I don’t like the flat look of the back window of the phone, the big honing camera lens was the only focus, and I wish Apple would go with something more brave. But then I’m not a big liquid glass fan either.
The bigger problem with the air is that I am not convinced that there is a point of sales for many people “thin and light”, and if you remove this factor, the device is not particularly well. With a less camera, a smaller battery and just a larger screen marginal, it is more expensive than the standard iPhone. On the other hand, for more than $ 400, you can get a significant larger screen against the air, 10 hours of battery (according to Apple’s video playback tests), and the iPhone Pro Max with two extra cameras.
However, if thin and light is more attractive to you than extra cameras, the weather looks at least with the smaller iPhone 17 Pro. $ 200 cheaper, a slightly larger screen and almost strong.
So, if you prefer to go to Professional, what would you get? Considering how much the standard model has increased, the most expensive iPhones are a bit strange this year, but there is still a few special tricks in their arms.
To begin, professionals were given their own different designs and I really liked it. An uninterrupted aluminum university wrapped back to a chunky camera bar from the upper back from all sides of the device and leaves a glass panel of a game card (or max. Max) that matches in some angles and contrasts from others. The device has a more beautiful feeling than last year’s Titanium Pro, but I will guess that it is more prone to dings and scratches.
Among the cameras, standard, selfie and ultrawide lenses mostly offer the same experience as the Standard iPhone 17, but the telephoto lens adds too many auxiliary programs. SIDE SIDE SIDE FROM THE PROFESSION OF IT IS 48MP CAMERA IN 4x ZOOM, 12MP is 5x, but the advantage is more consistent with the medium range. Filming between 4x and 5x now looks great, they can be quite noisy before, and you can still get perfect beautiful results at 10x in a good light.

As mentioned above, the display in the 17 Pro is almost the same as the standard 17, but this year, the 17 Pro Max is the only way to get the largest 6.9 -inch screen. The maximum is also a battery life monster and the standard professional is not sagging, but sometimes it will still remain 50 percent when it is time to bed.
Of course, if you are using your professional phone for professional applications, you will benefit from some features that most users will not notice. The standard iPhone is still on the USB 2.0, but in pro 3.2 gene 2, ie cable transfer rates are significantly faster. For video recording, Pro will process the 4K HDR video as 120 frames per second, but even though it is only in a format that you can only read on existing Macs, it supports only the things that people will attach importance to raw, Apple Log 2, Genlock and time codes.
Almost “Pro” has reached a point where iPhones are really most meaningful for creative professionals, and most users have been presented by the standard phone. But we’re not there yet, because the larger screen and the telephoto camera are a must for some and it’s worth the big price jump.
