Trump ‘pulls JD Vance from crunch Iran peace talks’ over ‘security reasons’ | World | News

Donald Trump reportedly announced that Vice President J.D. Vance will not participate in peace talks with Iran for “security reasons.” Since Mr Vance will not be there, the Washington delegation will be led by special envoy Steve Whitkoff and his son-in-law Jared Kushner, the US President told The Weekend on MS Now.

He was previously expected to lead the US team for the Islamabad meeting on Monday, where Trump announced that he was accusing Iran of violating the ceasefire. He wrote on Truth Social: “Iran decided to fire bullets into the Strait of Hormuz yesterday – Complete Violation of our Ceasefire Agreement! Many were targeted at a French Ship and a Freighter from the UK. That wasn’t nice, was it?”

“My representatives are going to Islamabad, Pakistan. They will be there tomorrow evening for negotiations. Iran recently announced that they will close the Strait, which is strange because our Blockade has already closed it.

“In fact, many Ships are currently going to the USA, Texas, Louisiana and Alaska to load as a compliment to the IRGC and they always aspire to be the “tough guy”.

“We are offering a very fair and reasonable DEAL and I hope they accept it, because if they don’t the United States will disable every Power Plant and every Bridge in Iran. NO MORE MR. NICE GUY!

“They will fall quickly, they will fall easily, and if they do not accept the DEAL, it would be my honor to do to Iran what other presidents have had to do to Iran for the last 47 years.

“IT IS TIME TO END THE IRANIAN KILLING MACHINE! President DONALD J. TRUMP.”

Iran also criticized the US embargo on its ports, calling it a “stupid and stupid decision” and demanding that it be reversed.

Tehran quickly reversed course on reopening the Strait of Hormuz yesterday, reimposing restrictions on the critical waterway after the United States said the move would not end the blockade.

Mohammed Bagher Galibaf, one of Iran’s chief negotiators, warned that if the USA does not lift the blockade, “traffic in the Strait of Hormuz will definitely be restricted.”
