While Dhurandhar has grossed over Rs 600 million worldwide, Akshaye was seen doing the most unconventional thing at his farmhouse in Alibagh. The actor doesn’t party much but does puja and prays for shanti. Of course, Akshaye didn’t give a fuck about Dhurandhar’s success. He remained a simple, down-to-earth and special person.
Did Akshaye hold puja after the success of Dhurandhar?
In a viral video on X, Akshaye Khanna is seen performing puja with two priests at his farmhouse. One of the pandits also posed for a photo with Khanna and revealed that the actor had a Vastu Shanti Puja at his farmhouse. Wearing a simple white short kurta, Khanna smiled for the photo with the priest and the photo was captioned in Marathi as “Famous Akshaye Khanna sir yancha gharivastushanti viddhi sampan, thanyche kahi shan (Vastu Shanti ceremony completed at famous Akshaye Khanna sir’s residence, here are some moments from the event)”. In the video, Akshaye is seen following the priests’ instructions and performing the rituals to bring peace, prosperity and positive energy into his home.

Directed by Dhurandhar, the film starring Aditya Dhar, Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna has grossed Rs 618 crore worldwide in just 12 days. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal and Rakesh Bedi in lead roles. The second episode of Dhurandhar will be released on March 19, 2026.
