BJP’s strategy to defame Bengal: TMC’s Shashi Panja alleges provocation on election day after EC orders re-polling

Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Shashi Panja on Friday (May 1) alleged that the BJP was trying to “provoke” other parties to trigger massive re-voting on election day and “defame Bengal” after the Election Commission ordered re-polling in 15 polling stations in South 24 Parganas on Saturday (May 2).

Addressing the media after meeting the Additional Election Chairman, Panja said, “We are meeting the Additional Election Chairman. In some places, strong room CCTVs are not working properly. Therefore, we request the EC to take due care with this. Why is the process not completely transparent?”
