UK city bids to break record for world’s biggest cream tea party

Thousands of calm in Stoke-On-Trent were gathered in 190 places to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the city by trying the world’s largest cream tea party. More than 800 participants in the five main regions helped to overcome the previous record of 667 people, but the result is still waiting for the official Guinness to verify. The participants had to eat full donuts with jam and cream and only drink tea to meet the criteria. The organizers and the natives described the activity as a heartwarming indicator of community spirit and pride.
