Washington DC police say at least four people were shot in a shooting near Howard University.
The attack occurred as thousands of people flocked to the campus for homecoming celebrations.
Police responded to a shooting in the 600 block of Howard Place, near the university’s Yard and School of Architecture building, at 8:23 p.m.
Police announced that one person was in critical condition and the other person was in serious condition in the attack. Police did not confirm the number of injured or whether the suspect or suspects had been captured.
