Queensland police shot dead alleged domestic violence perpetrator north of Brisbane
Queensland police have shot and killed an alleged domestic violence perpetrator at a home north of Brisbane with a firearm.
Just after midnight on Sunday morning, police officers responded to an alleged domestic violence incident at a home in Narangba following reports that a man was armed and making threats.
The man allegedly made threats to the police while holding the gun, and a police officer shot him.
Police teams arrived at the scene and provided first aid and first aid, but the man died at the scene.
The Queensland ambulance service said paramedics were assessing a patient with life-threatening injuries. Three people, whose condition was stable, were hospitalized.
The Police Ethical Standards Command will investigate the incident under the supervision of the Crime and Corruption Commission.
