Australia vs England third test day 3 cricket scores, results, start time, wickets, teams, how to watch, Adelaide Oval
Adelaide: Forget DRS dramas. And forget all the controversy surrounding Ashes preparation.
Definitely forget about the term “Bazball” which now seems destined to have a disco-like life. And forget the idea that a 40-degree day and the flattest slope of the series will offer a path back to a miracle.
The only thing to remember on the second day at the scorching Adelaide Oval is that this provides conclusive evidence that this England team is not good enough to compete with Australia’s bona fide Test match quality.

Many important statements were made from England during the preparation phase. Following the defeat at the Gabba, Ben Stokes used a blowtorch on his soldiers for the first time in four years, saying neither Australia nor the dressing room were places for “weak men”.
Brendon McCullum continued in Adelaide by backing his players and backing their approach to give them a “great chance” if they are at their best. Stokes completed the rhetorical attack by saying that his men could win if they showed enough “dog” in the coming battle. It was a storm of powerful words, but they proved to be of almost no use.
