3 Killed, Including Suspect, In Shooting At A Rhode Island Hockey Rink

Rhode Island: Three people, including the suspect, were killed in a shooting at a Rhode Island hockey rink Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.
The other three victims were in critical condition and hospitalized, Pawtucket Chief Tina Goncalves told reporters. Authorities said they believe the attack was a targeted attack stemming from a domestic dispute.
Outside the arena, tearful families and high school hockey players still in uniform were seen embracing before boarding buses to leave the area. The roads surrounding the arena were closed due to a heavy police presence and helicopters flying overhead.
Messages seeking comment were left with Pawtucket police and a spokesman for the city’s mayor. There was also no immediate response to an email message left with a spokesperson for a local hospital.
Pawtucket is located just north of Providence and just below the Massachusetts state line. Pawtucket, with a population of just under 80,000, was until recently known as the home of Hasbro’s headquarters, and Mr. Potato Head’s license plates appear proudly on vehicles around town.
