Barricade waterlogged roads, causeways; evacuate people from low-lying areas to relief centres: Telangana CM

Considering the estimation of mid -heavy rain for nine regions, on Saturday, August 16, 2025, TaLangana Prime Minister A. National Disaster Response Power (NDRF), State Disaster Response Power (NDRF) should be deployed in advance in areas where it will receive heavy rain. The Prime Minister said that they would coordinate with collector by taking aid measures.

Health department officials were directed to stock up enough drugs and to organize health camps when necessary.

Redy, income power, Panchayat Raj, roads and buildings, health department, police, firefighters and other departments have to work in coordination, he said.
