NFL news: Patriots top Broncos to win AFC title

New England Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez was burned by a pass from Denver Broncos quarterback Jarrett Stidham to Marvin Mims early in the game, but he made up for it in the fourth quarter.

As snow fell on Empower Field at Mile High, Stidham threw a high pass down the sideline and went up in the air. Gonzalez came up with the ball for a clutch return.

The interception helped seal New England’s 10-7 victory over Denver. The Patriots will advance to Super Bowl LX.
