Beyond Holiday Inn: IHG sees luxury brands, franchises as growth drivers

IHG Hotels & Resorts South West Asia Managing Director Sudeep Jain said the company, which operates InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn and Six Senses, aims to build a portfolio of 400 operational and ongoing properties in the country by 2030. Mint. IHG had 52 hotels operating in India by 2025, with 98 more planned to be on the way. As of December 2025, it has 6,963 hotels worldwide.
