RFK Jr reveals his strange daily routine… including not eating until noon and meditating with ‘dead people’

America’s health minister is already famous for drinking raw milk and having a dead worm lodged in his brain.

But in a resurfaced clip aired on X this week, Robert F Kennedy Jr. he raised his eyebrows once more; It revealed a routine that combined strict discipline with some unusual habits.

A fit man in his 70s, he does intermittent fasting (going 17 hours a day without eating), walks three miles every day with his three dogs, and works out at the gym four days a week lifting weights for 35 minutes.

He also said he uses a handful of supplements and testosterone replacement therapy.

And in another interview the same year, the secretary said that he talked to dead people during his daily meditation.

Dr., an emergency medicine physician in New York. Stuart Fischer told the Daily Mail: ‘I agree with some of this, but fasting is a bit eccentric; although it is a great way to lose weight.

‘The gym and gym routine should be a part of everyone’s life to help build and maintain muscle and burn calories, although probably not as often as Kennedy goes. ‘I go twice a week and that’s enough.’

The Secretary of Health and Human Services is famous for his meat-heavy diet. He is seen above eating a steak for his 72nd birthday in January this year.

Intermittent fasting became popular in the 2010s, when celebrities like Mark Wahlberg announced that they were following a weight loss and metabolic health plan.

But in recent years, doctors have begun to express concerns about the plan after studies linked it to a higher risk of colon cancer and type 2 diabetes.

In a resurfaced interview with podcaster Lex Fridman, computer scientist RFK Jr, now 72, said: ‘I do intermittent fasting. I start my first meal around noon and try to stop eating at six or seven.

RFK Jr has already attracted a lot of attention with his diet, which prioritizes ribeye, red meat and sauerkraut; He reportedly occasionally asks his wife, Cheryl Hines, to carry pungent fermented foods in her purse.

It promoted eating habits through the new food pyramid published by the health department in January.

‘I go to a meeting first thing in the morning… and then I walk uphill a mile and a half up and a mile and a half down with my dogs and meditate.

‘Then I go to the gym… for 35 minutes. I do it in a short time. I have been exercising for 50 years and have found that exercising for short periods of time is sustainable.

‘I never rest in the gym, I go there and train very intensely.’

He said he trained his back, chest and legs at the gym for one day each, and then trained ‘various’ muscle groups on the fourth day.

The World Health Organization recommends that adults over the age of 65 engage in 150 minutes of moderate-intensity activity, such as cycling or swimming, or at least 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity activity, such as running, each week.

The agency also recommends people complete at least two muscle-strengthening activities each week.

People begin to gradually lose muscle mass from the age of 30, decreasing by about three to five percent every decade. From age 60 this accelerates with a loss of one percent or more per year.

Falls increase the risk of metabolic problems, such as weight gain, falls, or fractures, which can worsen daily quality of life.

Lifting weights or doing bodyweight exercises can slow or reverse this decline, helping adults live healthier lives longer.

As well as his physical routine, RFK Jr added: ‘I take a lot of vitamins. I can’t even list them here because I can’t even remember them at all. But I’m getting a ton of vitamins and nutrients.

‘I don’t use any anabolic steroids or anything like that and TRT [testosterone replacement therapy] ‘What I use is biologically identical to what my body produces.’

Doctors say men’s testosterone levels begin to decline between the ages of 30 and 35, dropping by an average of one percent per year.

To alleviate this, some men may use TRT recommended by doctors. Low testosterone levels have also been linked to higher levels of fatigue, decreased libido, and muscle wasting.

When it comes to mental health, RFK Jr also revealed that he meditates daily in 2023.

In an interview with Free PressRFK Jr said: ‘I meditate every day. This is the nature of my meditations. ‘I talk to dead people a lot.’

However, in a follow-up to the broadcast, he later clarified: ‘These are one-way prayers for strength and wisdom. ‘I don’t take strategic advice from the dead.’
