Brazen shoplifter steals 4ft chocolate display from convenience store | News

This is the moment a brazen thief emerged from the supermarket with a four-foot display case full of Cadbury chocolate.

CCTV footage released by South Wales Police on Tuesday (May 12) shows Richard Wolsey, 47, of no fixed abode, entering a One Stop shop on Pentregethin Road and bravely picking up the entire display before running out the door on April 18.

The 47-year-old man targeted Cadle, Portmead, Fforestfach, Penlan and several shops in the city centre, stealing goods worth £657.

On Monday, May 11, Worlsey pleaded guilty to six counts of shoplifting at Swansea Magistrates’ Court. He was sentenced to eight months in prison.
