Meghan Markle has been criticized by fans online who accused her of using her daughter Princess Lilibet to boost sales of her brand. The Duchess of Sussex has teamed up with lifestyle brand As Ever to launch a £191 gift box containing flowers, tea and honey.

The Garden Tea Bloom Box features herbal mint tea, combed sage honey, and fresh flowers including peonies and jasmine. It is said to combine “fresh flowers with the comfort of a simple pantry.”

This limited edition offering was produced in collaboration with San Francisco-based luxury floral supplier High Camp Supply.

Following the launch on Wednesday evening, Meghan shared a series of new behind-the-scenes photos from her new As Ever photo shoot.

In the first clip, Meghan is seen arranging the flowers in a vase and Lilibet runs into the shot to embrace her.

The four-year-old can also be seen sitting at the table in front of Meghan in one photo.

In another, Lilibet sits under the table while Meghan arranges the table decor.

While some fans found this feature of Lilibet cute, others criticized the duchess for showing off her daughter.

One user said on X: “Wow, we are talking about the height of desperation!

“He really pushes little Betty front and center, believing the child will be his magic shield against an avalanche of scary headlines.”

Another agreed: “Show me how to sell your kids. Keeping their faces covered is part of the product selling routine.”

A third exploded: “This is SO FAKE!”

A fourth commented: “I called right after the blackout with Netflix. Meghan will be using her kids from now on. What else do you have left?”

A fifth noted: “Instead of serving her kids on a silver platter, she serves them on a rustic farm table, but she still serves them.”

The launch comes amid news that the partnership between Netflix and Meghan’s lifestyle brand has ended.

Earlier this month, a spokesperson for Meghan said the duchess’ brand was “ready to stand on its own two feet” after the deal closes.
