Bridge collapse in Jammu: 3 bodies, 1 injured pulled out from rubble; probe ordered

Rescue workers recovered three bodies and one injured person from the rubble of a partially collapsed old bridge during a 12-hour search operation on the outskirts of Jammu, officials said on Saturday, May 2, 2026.

An injured worker was rescued on Friday, May 1, 2026, shortly after part of the bridge collapsed in the Thuther area of Bantalab.
