‘Despite everything that’s happened, David and Victoria still love their son. He will always be their child and there will always be a place for him in their home.
‘They tried everything they could to repair their relationship with him but it didn’t work. “Now that I’m with Nicola, it feels like there’s no turning back,” he said. Sun.
Victoria’s parents Jackie and Tony, as well as David’s Sandra and Ted, are said to be heartbroken by Brooklyn’s actions.
The source continued: ‘Once again the grandparents are very upset. They feel powerless and don’t know what to do.
‘They love Brooklyn, but of course they love their own children too, and they see the pain etched on their faces.’
The Daily Mail has contacted Beckham’s and Peltz for comment.
The Spice Girls star’s estranged child took to Instagram to condemn her relationship with her ‘performative’ parents, revealing that her mother ‘missed her first dance’ and said: ‘I’ve never felt so uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.’
While the newlyweds were planning a very romantic show, Victoria reportedly chose to dance ‘on top of her son in a very inappropriate way’ in front of 500 guests.

He wrote: ‘My mother missed my first dance with my partner, which I had planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song.
‘In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage; ‘I was scheduled to have a romantic dance with my wife on the programme, but my mother was waiting to dance with me instead’.
He continued: ‘He danced with me in a very inappropriate way in front of everyone. I have never felt so uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life. We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that brought us joy and happiness, not anxiety and shame.
Brooklyn and Nicola wed in April 2022 in a lavish £3.5 million wedding at the Peltz family estate in Palm Beach, Florida.
They later renewed their wedding vows in August 2025, when Brooklyn’s parents and siblings were not invited to the ceremony in New York’s Westchester County.
A wedding guest also backed up claims that Brooklyn danced ‘inappropriately’ with Victoria at her wedding.
Wedding guest Stavros Agapiou made a statement, stating that they witnessed Victoria’s ‘inappropriate’ dance.
Agapiou is the partner of British DJ Fat Tony, who was asked to perform at the reception. In an Instagram comment they wrote: ‘I was there and he was there too, he’s telling the truth.’
The comment was later deleted and Stavros replaced it with ‘Good for him for finally speaking up!’ wrote.
Nicola and Brooklyn’s April 2022 wedding broadcast in the US Voguewhich goes into lavish detail about how the wedding party follows the American traditions of mother-son and father-daughter dancing.
Vogue said the newlyweds’ first dance was to South African singer Lloyiso’s rendition of Elvis Presley’s Can’t Help Falling in Love.
The publication then states: David and Victoria’s close friend Marc Anthony took the stage much later at the reception at 23:00 to perform his song I Need To Know.
Brooklyn claimed in his statement: ‘They were insistent that I sign [away trademark] before my wedding date because when will the terms of the agreement start’ (Photo taken of Nicola on her wedding day)
A source added: ‘Before Brooklyn and Nicola got married, Victoria called Brooklyn and said: “Your dad has a very important job, you need to sign this contract.”‘ (David and Victoria pictured at the wedding)
At this point ‘Brooklyn invited her mother on stage for a dance and they were joined by David and their 10-year-old daughter Harper.’
The claim that Brooklyn ‘invited’ his mother to the dance is in stark contrast to the statement, ‘Marc Anthony called me on stage, I was scheduled to have a romantic dance with my wife in the program, but my mother was waiting to dance with me instead.’
Meanwhile, following the announcement, a throwback tweet from Victoria resurfaced, featuring footage of her dancing with David and captioned: “I’ve never met a dance floor I didn’t love.”
Despite proudly declaring that he was once a ‘mama’s boy’, Brooklyn focused heavily on Victoria in his lengthy statement and his sarcastic comments left him ‘on the floor in pieces’.
Although memories vary as to what exactly happened on the wedding day, Brooklyn also claimed that his parents ‘tried to bribe me into signing over the rights to my name, which would affect me, my wife and our future children.’
Daily Mail revealed this Victoria’s sole ownership of Brooklyn Beckham’s trademark will expire this year.
On Monday, Beckham’s eldest son, 26, launched an extraordinary online attack on his parents, accusing David, 50, and Victoria, 51, of trying to ‘ruin’ his marriage.
Documents lodged with the UK Intellectual Property Office show Victoria acquired the trademark in her son’s name in December 2016, but when it expires in December this year Brooklyn will be free to renew it using her own legal team.
The trademark covers product classes including cosmetics and aftershaves, clothing, shoes, sportswear, hats, toys, TV shows and music.
Posh has also filed trademarks in the names of her other three children.
Brooklyn claimed in his statement: ‘They insisted that I sign before my wedding date, as this was the date when the terms of the agreement would begin. My extension affected the payday and they’ve never treated me the same since.’
A source added to Page Six: ‘Before Brooklyn and Nicola got married, Victoria called Brooklyn and said, “Your father has a very important job, you need to sign this contract.”‘
But the deal with Authentic Brands Group is tied to David selling a majority stake in brand management company DB Ventures for $269 million in 2022 and does not represent anything negative for Brooklyn, an industry insider said.
“The agreement that Brooklyn was asked to sign was to protect his rights because his parents have business partners who have some rights to the Beckham name, which of course ensures that the children are deprived of that,” a Beckham insider said at the time.
‘This is completely standard and to protect the family. Brooklyn chose not to sign the agreement, but that doesn’t make any difference because of course no one will restrict his rights.
‘Unfortunately by then Brooklyn had gotten rid of all its advisors and was only listening to the Peltz lawyers, who probably didn’t understand the deal or were being deliberately obstructive.’
PR agent and Brand expert Mark Borkowski told the Daily Mail that Brooklyn’s violent attack will undoubtedly have an impact on ‘Brand Beckham’, which is built on ‘unity, warmth and professionalism’.
Mark explained: ‘This will be an existential crisis for the Beckhams. They had previously made sure to promote the family by posting about Cruz’s music concert, despite all the feud reports.
‘The problem is that the Peltzes are important, ruthless businessmen, and they’ll be pretty good at exploiting Brooklyn if he wants to do something.
‘They can now take an element of their brand and build on it; just like Prince Harry did when he used the Windsor hashtag with Meghan Markle.
‘Brooklyn is currently in bed with one of New York’s most powerful businessmen, and America is a much bigger market for him.
‘As for the Peltz family, they don’t want a Beckham brand floating around that they don’t control. They are a successful family and they look at their son-in-law and think, “How can we create something with the Peltz brand?”
‘This is a terrible family soap opera for the Beckhams and how they get out of it will certainly be an ongoing debate.’
