Brixton has been rocked by a horrific shooting that left four people injured and a suspect on the loose. Police were called to Coldharbour Lane shortly after 1am on Saturday following reports of gunshots; Armed officers and emergency services rushed to the scene within minutes.

Four victims were treated for gunshot wounds and taken to the hospital, including a 25-year-old man with life-threatening injuries. The Metropolitan Police launched an urgent investigation and confirmed detectives were working “rapidly” to find those responsible for what was described as an indiscriminate act of violence and no arrests had yet been made.
