Two Gunmen in Attack at a Brooklyn Bar Were Among Those Killed

Police commissioner Jessica Tisch said on Monday that two of the four armed men who opened fire in a Brooklyn bar early on Sunday morning killed another man and injured 14 people.
Commissioner Tisch, one of the armed men, Marvin St. Louis fired a 19 -year -old Jamel Childs, both of them tasting the city hall, after tasting City Lounge.
Mr. Childs withdrew and the other two men immediately began to shoot, caused terror and chaos at the Crown Heights Bar, where the bosses dived to the ground or ran to escape the arms fire.
Police, both Mr. Louis and Mr. Childs, 27 -year -old Manhattan’dan Amadou Diallo, was killed like a boss who was caught on cross -fire and had nothing to do with conflict.
Commissioner Tisch said that the attack was related to the gang on Sunday and said that the detectives were still looking for the other two armed men and examined 42 shell cases in and out of the bar for clues. Police said that shooters use 9 millimeters and .45 -caliber firearms.
Mr. Childs was a member of a gang called Folk Nation, Tisch Tisch terrorizes Brooklyn and said that he has so far been responsible for at least half dozen withdrawal. The commissioner said Tisch. Police said Mr. Louis was a member of a rival gang.
He said that three people who were injured and survived in the shoot were associated with the gang.
While the police said that eight men and three women were taken to hospital with firearms after firing, three additional victims, all men, then went to the hospital for treatment on Sunday and Monday. Police said that 14 is expected to survive.
The 71st region, which includes the block where the shooting occurred, was compared with eight in the same period of the previous year and saw three shootings between the beginning of the year and 10 August.
However, the neighbors said the bar was a magnet for trouble. In November, a 39 -year -old man was accused of murder at the fire of a 28 -year -old.
In a statement published on social media on Sunday, the restaurant said, “The safety and prosperity of our guests and our community has always been our greatest priority,” he said.
