E-bike rider killed in garbage truck crash in Sydney’s CBD
A man has died after his e-bike collided with a garbage truck in Sydney’s CBD, while commuters have been warned of traffic delays.
The man, aged in his 30s, collided with the truck at the intersection of Little Regent Street and George Street in Ultimo at around 6am on Tuesday.
The person, who was intervened by medical teams, died at the scene.
Police will investigate the incident with the help of the crime scene investigation team.
As a result, three of the four westbound lanes on George Street approaching Regent Street were closed.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
